Karabo Letlhaku

CEO

With over 20 years of corporate work experience, Karabo Letlhaku has a strong foundation in business administration, communication, and data privacy regulation. She is a firm believer in the re-engineering of self for continuous growth and development, and strives to be a catalyst for this philosophy within the organisations and teams she works with.

Karabo holds a Communication Science degree and a Postgraduate degree in Media Studies, her research being on the impact of Social Media on public opinion. She is currently a Master's candidate at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), enrolled in their Business Management program, specialising in Change Leadership. She has a special interest in ethics and the ethical gaps found in the development and use of Information & Communication Technologies, including AI. As a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and a candidate for their CIPM/E ( Certified Information Privacy Manager / Europe) certification, Karabo is invested in playing her part in the area of ethical AI innovation and use in Africa. Karabo’s personal mission is to leverage her skills, training, network and talents to contribute meaningfully to this continental goal.

On a more serious note, Karabo loves to dance, sing and decode meaning from the conversations she has with others, according to her, “there is always something unsaid between the sentences we hear”.
